ABOUT

THE EXPERIENCE

Rooted in History. Built for the Future.

Adriatic Sound Festival was born in Fano, the ancient Roman port where Julius Caesar once walked. Our mission: a timeless festival that honors the city’s heritage while projecting into the future of music and design.

ASF turned Fano Airport into a city of sound, light, and unity. With world-renowned Stufish Entertainment Architects — creators of iconic stage productions — we built structures that are both monuments and stages, blending Roman architecture with futuristic aviation aesthetics.

AXIS MUNDI

Adriatic Sound Festival is the Axis Mundi: the center where sky and earth meet, where sound becomes a collective ritual.

In ancient Rome, the Axis Mundi was not just a symbol, but a real point around which the city, fire, and life itself were built.

Today, we inhabit it in a different form, and each year a temporary city rises, made of music, light, and presence.

Not a place to reach, but a state to experience. A vertical passage connecting the earthly and the celestial, reminding us that the festival is a collective breath that expands and returns, like a wave uniting sky and earth.

ROOTS

Adriatic Sound Festival was born in Fano, where the spirit of ancient Rome still vibrates in the air.

The main stage, The Temple, is inspired by the Arch of Augustus, a historic symbol of the city. The festival’s aesthetic reflects this Roman spirit, blending classical elements with a contemporary vision.

The ancient merges with the present: from the music to the spaces, all the way to the second stage, The Hangar. A fascinating contrast that creates a unique and immersive experience.

A festival where past and future meet, shaping a timeless event.

VISION

Adriatic Sound Festival was born to transform Fano into a sonic and cultural crossroads. Our vision is to create a boundless space where electronic music, art, and community merge into a single collective experience.

Not just a festival, but a meeting point that celebrates the region’s roots while projecting them into a contemporary language capable of speaking to a global generation.
